Description
The Discovery, Research, and Expansion Initiative, or D/R/E, is a subdivision of I.S.O. dedicated to charting, researching, and preparing exoplanets for human habitation. The most notable expedition, Project Valkyrie, being launched in 1989. The expedition was spearheaded by the R.S. Intervention, the largest and most resilient deep-space ship ever constructed by any organization. The R.S. Intervention went missing 5 years into its voyage, in 1994. The year is 2029. Two months ago, the R.S. Intervention was rediscovered, lurking in the Pleiades Nebula, status unknown of its 776 member crew-compliment. You have been tasked with retrieving the ship's onboard AI Copilot, SOVEREIGN-7, and retrieving the ship's main mission log, as well as any other useful research data you may find.
