Description
Located in the New England territory of the United States, the State of Livingston (Commonwealth of Livingston) was established in November 1803 by settlers from the Dominion of Norhurst. Although explorers and logging parties had sporadically entered the region since the late 1600s, Livingston remained largely uninhabited for centuries due to its severe winters, dense forests, and perilous mountain passes.
