EDO JIDAI | HUB #359809654
Description
This community and game is set in the Edo period, a time of significant transformation and stability following the chaos of the Sengoku era. Under the rule of the Tokugawa shogunate, Japan experienced prolonged peace and prosperity. However, a strict social order and isolationist foreign policies maintain a delicate balance, keeping the nation largely disconnected from the outside world. In this era, cities flourish, and arts and culture thrive, inviting a rich tapestry of experiences for the populace. Yet, with the growing power of the regional daimyo, tensions simmer beneath the surface. As the country enjoys urbanization and economic growth, will the stability last, or will the ambitions of feudal lords disrupt the tranquility of this newfound order? The year for this community is 1603, focusing mainly on the rebuilding and stabilization of Japan after the Sengoku Jidai (Warring States Period). Our main game is inspired by the game Ghost of Yotei which also takes place in 1603.
