They are the first to see the heat of battle especially when the Emperor needs dirty work done clean. The Sun Guard were once freedom fighters. These adept warriors are considered the firstborn guardians of The Emperor, dating from 1154 BBY. The original members were cloned Echani of the planet Thyrsus. Prioritizing The Echani Martial Art—skilled in personal gladiatorial fighting, urban warfare, and a variety of other techniques; they now reside as the pure might of Yinchorr. Enchanted with force-resistant armor, and unmatched combat prowess, The Saber Guards are an empowered force within The High Guards. they're tasked to covert operations along with The Shadow Guard. "To the Echani, battle is a means of communication - it is an art, in the truest sense of the word."
