While organized into a hierarchy of District Courts, Royal Courts, and the supreme Royal Curia, the judiciary is rooted in ancient Transleithanian traditions of order and severity. Its mission is to uphold the laws of the Kingdom, protect the constitutional order from internal and external threats, and ensure that the will of the Crown is the ultimate legal authority.
