Description
The People’s Republic of Benin was a socialist state that existed in West Africa from 1975 to 1990. It was led by a major In the Army who had over threw the current government. A government was set in place after the overthrow Of the previous one this one would be called the People’s Revolutionary Party Benin. After the socialist overthrow of the previous government its name would be changed to the people’s republic of Benin, or the Popular Republic of Benin with its being Porto Novo.
