Its roots stretch back to the medieval monarchy, serving as a central organ of state and governance. Today, it retains important ceremonial and constitutional roles advising His Majesty King William V on matters of state, issuing Orders in Council, and overseeing affairs such as royal charters and the affairs of Crown dependencies. Composed of senior politicians, clergy, and judges, members of the Council are sworn to secrecy and allegiance, bearing the honorary title “Right Honourable.” ‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒ King in Council: HM King William V Lord President of the Council: Vacant ‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒ 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝: 2025/05/23 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝: 2025/05/28
