Description
Imperial Ground Support Wing “Death from above!” The Imperial Ground Support Wing is a unit under the Galactic Empires Imperial Army. This was a compromise between the Imperial Navy and Army. The Army wanted their own dedicated starfighter support for ground troopers, while the Navy wanted to retain control of the fighters for their fleets. The resulting unit consisted of an Imperial Army Wing that is smaller than the traditional Navy Wing. The Wing consists of TIE Fighters and TIE Bombers.
