Description
“MARINS” is a faction based upon the actions of the 2nd Régiment de Fusiliers Marins, as well as the Bataillon des Fusiliers Marins. They were the most widespread French naval ground unit of the war. Initially organized as a brigade containing two regiments in 1914/1915, they were later reformed into a single battalion due to the Navy’s urgent need for personnel to counter the growing U-Boat threat. - VERDUN DEVELOPMENT GROUP FACTION.
