Description
The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) is a highly specialized unit within the Navy SEALs organization. Its official mission is to research, develop, and test new technology and tactics for the Navy SEALs, and also evaluate existing equipment for potential use by the Department of Defense. Unofficially, DEVGRU is also believed to be involved in high-risk counter-terrorism and other sensitive missions.
