1st 'Castillians Dread' Grenadiers of the Line The Grenadiers of the Line are elite heavy infantry, comprised of seasoned veterans and hardened campaigners drawn from the bravest of the Kingdom. Their chief role is to form the unbreakable core of the battle line—where the fighting is thickest and the enemy pressure greatest. Unlike lighter troops, Grenadiers do not skirmish or screen; they advance in dense formation with bayonets fixed and fire disciplined volleys at close range. Trained to seize fortified positions, repel cavalry, and withstand artillery bombardment, they are the Crown’s hammer in pitched engagements.
