It was founded in 1950 by Malenyevists, union leaders, and socialist activists as a successor to the original communist party (which went by the same name). Unlike the original communist party, the new party is not inherently based in Malenyevism, rather it leans towards a thought known Sordish Socialism created by D. Stahler (who was inspired by Valgslandian SociaIism).
