Columbia State Policе #36086567
Description
The Columbia State Police was officially organized on 10 April 1847, made up of elements of the 37th Regiment of the Colonial Republic Army, in order to decrease the number of rising spice thefts happening in the newly formed colony. The State Police first took the side of the Colonial Republic during the insurrection of 1832, but joined it after a while by breaking off from the Colonial Republic Army Command and distributing weapons issued by the Colonial Republic to the revolutionaries, which was a tide-changing decision made by the then Columbia State Police Commander Bloxer Knight. In the modern day, the State Police is now the state-level law enforcement agency working for the State of Columbia, and is administered by a Commissioner whom the elected Governor of the State appoints.
