New Goldegon Trading Company #36090546
Description
BLOCKADING: Ship(s) are positioned around a chosen island or route in positions that allow easy firing/boarding onto other ships. These may be done to harvest taxes or shut off islands for the personal use of the Admirality. Blockades may only be passed by approved ships who use the following format. "[SHIP NAME] [PILOT], carrying [CARGO]", example: "Arow, Y_odah, carrying 3 wheat." All other ships who pass the blockade may be stopped in which ever way authorised. TAXING: Taxing is a practice most commonly used in blockades but can also be used in island occupations. Crewmen will go around with weapons and demand a portion of cargo of the taxee be handed over, unless specified otherwise, the crewmen may sell this cargo themselves. Once a certain threshold has passed, the taxee may be free to go (eg: tax of 3 cargo/200 gold) Taxes are applied any time someone utilises the taxed zone (island or trade route)
