🌿🕊️ 𝟔º 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐈 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐀 «𝐃𝐈 𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈» 🕊️🌿 Originally formed as a municipal guard unit for the city of Napoli, the unit was uplifted to the Royal Army on December 10th, 1810, as being the 6th Regiment of Line Infantry carrying the name of the city from which they originate. The regiment was utilized early on in training activities with the also newly formed 7o Regiment of Line Infantry formed from Saint-Domingue French Veterans; a nominally African American based regiment adopting the title of "Royal Africans".
