Malenyev developed it as a variant of Karlos Marcia’s theory of Marcian socio-economics. He supported creating a vanguard party of the proletariat, supported proletarian internationalism and a dictatorship of the proletariat based on working class self-emancipation and mass democracy. Malenyevists are critical of the theory of socialism-in-one-country in favor of Malenyev's theory of permanent revolution.
