Imperii Court #36099203
RoleplayENroleplayhistoricalroman empire
Description
The Imperial Court is an entourage of noble companions who serve at the side of Imperator Caesar Augustus and Imperatrix Livia Drusilla. Not to be compared with the servants of Servus de Julia, Courtiers are an assembly of noblemen and noblewomen drawn from gentes of Noble and Imperial status from around the Empire, encompassing the most powerful Roman families. The Court primarily exists to reflect the glory, elegance, and dominance of the Julii unto other families of Rome. While Court serves both Imperials of Rome, it is primarily conducted by Livia Drusilla, who organizes events and attends to courtly affairs. Courtiers attend ceremonies, represent their families, and shape the social order of the Empire through presence and courtly intrigue.
