Kingdom of Weidenstein #3613650
RoleplayENalternate historyroleplayfictional nation
Description
The year is 1979. Following the the shattering of Germany following the Great War in 1918, the Kingdom rose as one of the many smaller reversed states from Mecklenburg. Having had its own national identity since its first appearance in the 1700s, Weidenstein was a vast agricultural land made up of smaller duchies and viceroyalties until 1921, where it became one of many German states to receive investments from the West. The capital, Rostock, became a major port for trading through northern Europe while cities like Schwerin became major financial centres in Europe. In the 50s, anti-monarchy ideals spread among the Kingdom's youth and resulted in political separation of the legislative government and the monarchy. Now in a conflicted state, the future of the Kingdom is uncertain.
