The American Transatlantic Line has officially merged the General-Continental Coach & Steam Co. to form the General-Continental American Steam Co., a new description of the group has been made and a new logo will come soon. Founded in 1854, the General-Continental American Steam Company is a ship company that specializes in both freight and passenger service. We use our Ocean Liners for long distance Transatlantic travel and operate a separate fleet of ferries for domestic use to many destinations in the United States. From North America to the one down south, through Europe, Africa, and Asia, the General-Continental American Steam Company offers a unique and luxurious experience aboard every one of our ships. We are more focused on safety then speed.
