Description
The MBTA is a major transit system that mainly focuses on areas in and/or around Boston. The MBTA consists of Local Buses, Express Buses, Shuttle Buses (usually contracted), Subway Lines, Trolley Lines, Commuter Rail lines and Ferries. The buses are used for local travel. The subway lines are used to get around town quicky. The commuter rail is used to go places far from Boston. Did you know that the Providence Line actually goes out of the state of Massachusetts?
