NetHack #362512
Game studiosENRPGDungeon CrawlerText-based Game
Description
NetHack is a text-based dungeon-crawler RPG for most personal computer operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and many more. It's easy to install and play, and it is very fun and addictive. The website alt.org has an online version of NetHack, that allows you to watch other players play the game. Consider making an account there if you don't want to download the game. The site also features leader-boards that let you see how you stack up against the rest of the website! alt.org/nethack/ -- Online server nethack.org -- Official download site, requires file extractor to play webchat.freenode.net -- Online IRC client for the alt.org IRC channel. The channel name is #nethack, and you may use any Nickname (Nick) as you want, provided it is not already in use on the channel. The channel has many knowledgeable players if you need help, and broadcasts when people wish and finish their games. (Warning, spoilers abound!) Happy dungeoneering, and good luck!
