However, it was conquered by the forces of Warmaster Horus in the final days of the Great Crusade. In the aftermath of the Horus Heresy and the Great Scouring, the shattered remnants of the Technocracy forged a new sub-empire of one hundred worlds. This would be known as the Realm of Empyrion.
