The Spanish Empire was one of the largest empires in history.It gained the title of "the empire which the sun never set" before Great Britian and was one of the most wealthiest empires in history.But also saw its role in the world greatly diminished after the Thirty Years War which drained Spanish resources.It reached its maximum territorial the 1700's along with seeing a increase of peace and development of the empire.
