33rd [1st Yorkshire West Riding] Regiment of Foot Fortune is the companion of virtue. The Regiment was raised in Gloucester by the Earl of Huntingdon in 1702 before being officially renamed the 33rd (or 1st Yorkshire West Riding) Regiment of Foot as of 1782. It would become personally associated with Wellington, accompanying him during his campaign in Spain and the fighting at Waterloo. Capacity: -50 rankers -3 non commisioned officers -2 officers
