This clan specializes in sword skills or 'kenjutsu.' However, while the Karatachi don't have a kekkei genkai, their lack of the trait was more than made up for, with their masterful use of kenjutsu. There have been renowned shinobi hailing from the Karatachi Clan, such as Yagura the 4th Mizukage and his grandson Kagura who became the Hiramekarei wielder of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist.
