Description
Formed from the Galactic Marines after the end of the Clone Wars, the Imperial Marines played the role of an elite unit of the Stormtrooper Corps, assigned to protect the Imperial Fleet, and tasked with boarding and securing enemy ships. The Marines were also trained advanced combat force when the need arose, being skilled with many weapons deemed unconventional by the wider Imperial Military.
