[Stat av Helgen Adalgar] State of Saint Adalgar (Norwegian) The State of Saint Adalgar is a fictional nation. It resides in a moderately sized Island off of the coast of Norway. In 850 A.D., sailors from Bremen sailed to the island. They found it, and named it after the Archbishop of their city, Saint Adalgar. Though a native tribe already lived there, known as the Sterke, the Germans marched in and took over the island. What the natives known as "Sterkeland" was now a part of Germany. The Island remained a trade center with Norway until 1650 when Sterkeland, or Saint Adalgar declared it's independence. Because they were aware of their small army and weak armaments, a king known as Kjetil II made a attempt at separating from Germany. The Germans reluctantly released them, due to Sterkeland giving them a trade embargo. As a sign of thanks, the Sterke kept their German name, it was no longer Sterkeland, but Helgen Adalgar. it resides with the Axis Powers.
