Description
Polish Military Special Forces Unit "Thunder" Tasks: Counter Terror, Direct Action, Unconventional Warfare. "Strength and Honor for you, Fatherland!" JW GR0M meaning “thunder,” is Poland’s finest counter-terror unit and one of the six special forces operating under Poland’s Special Troops Command. It was established in the year 1990. During its initial years, GR0M took inspiration from other elite forces like British SAS, American Delta Force, and SEALs. From 1991 to 2004, JW GR0M has been involved in more than twenty different counter-terror and peace missions all over the world, including Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti and in the invasion of Iraq. Today, it is known as one of the best special forces units in the world.
