Re: 제로부터 시작하는 이세계 생활의 용어. 마녀교의 직위이며 사실상 전체 스토리를 관통하는 주적. 적성을 가진 자가 마녀인자를 체내에 넣는 것으로 권능이라는 특수능력을 얻는다. 이들은 마녀교 소속일 경우, 대죄주교의 지위를 받는다. 작품 시작 시점에서 오만의 대죄주교는 공석이고 질투의 대죄주교는 존재하지 않는다. 후자의 이유는, 페텔기우스에 따르면 질투의 마녀를 섬기는 곳에서 질투의 대죄주교를 칭하면 매우 큰 결례이기 때문에 영구 결번 처리되었다. 이는 대죄주교라는 지위 자체가 질투의 마녀를 제외한 다른 대죄의 마녀들을 인정하지 않는다는 의미를 담고 있기 때문으로 보인다. 그럼에도 불구하고 허식의 마녀 판도라가 마녀교 내에서 대죄주교보다 높은 위치에 있다는 식의 묘사가 있는데, 그 이유는 불명. 본래는 에키드나처럼 죽은 마녀의 인자를 받아들인 사람이 계속 해당 마녀 자리를 계승했지만, 사테라가 폭주해 일어난 재앙으로 마녀교가 마녀에 대한 정보와 마녀인자를 독점한 후부터는 마녀가 아닌 대죄주교로 칭하게 되었다.
