Unfortunately, they failed loosing every troop. Or as the Empire thought. In this alternate universe, some clones and the Kamino Director survived the event. The Director cloned more troops with the DNA sample that a trooper secretly took as a last effort to save the Old Republic. That trooper was then forth made the Supreme Commander. When the Grey Jedi saw the Kamino Residents betray the Galactic Empire, they decided to join, since the clones had free will now, not having chips in their head.
