They are responsible for both the safety of the Emperor & Caesar of the Roman Empire, as well as executing their will. They do not serve as ordinary guards, rather than as an elite inner circle, sworn to defend the Emperor’s life, dignity and authority under all circumstances. Only those who have proven unwavering devotion to the Emperor, unquestionable obedience and exceptional capability may ever be considered for this sacred duty.
