Northern Ireland Railways is responsible for all rail travel in Northern Ireland working alongside Irish Rail to operate the Enterprise division and is also responsible not only for operations but all infrastructure, track, signalling and ticketing prices. NIR operate 45 trains in its current fleet mainly consisting of the NIR Class 4000s and the NIR Class 3000s. This group was founded in 2018. We are not affiliated with the real Northern Ireland Transport Holdings Company or Northern Ireland Railways LTD.
