Hand-selected from the most disciplined soldiers of the Cohortes Praetoriae, each guard swears an oath directly to the Emperor, forsaking legion and senate alike. Their tasks range from guarding the Julia Palace and villa to executing the Emperor’s will — whether it be protection, secrecy, or swift retribution.
