👑𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐀 🌿𝐔Ž 𝐓Ė𝐕𝐘𝐍Ę! 🌿𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒 - The Army of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was established in 1812 following Napoleon Bonaparte's entry into Lithuania and the restoration of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania under French protection. Formed from Lithuanian volunteers, former soldiers of the Polish–Lithuanian lands, and local recruits, the army fought alongside the Grande Armée during the French invasion of Russia. Organized according to Napoleonic military principles, Lithuanian units sought to restore their nation's historic statehood and defend their homeland from Russian rule. Despite its short existence, the army became a symbol of Lithuania's aspirations for independence during the Napoleonic era.
