Seventh Air Force 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 ═───────────═ Seventh Air Force was the primary U.S. Air Force command in South Vietnam, directing all Air Force combat operations in the theater from 1966 to 1973. Headquartered at Tan Son Nhut Air Base, it coordinated tactical fighter wings, reconnaissance squadrons, and forward air controllers to support ground forces across South Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Its missions ranged from close air support and interdiction strikes to aerial reconnaissance, medevac, and airlift.
