This alliance, forged in the early 13th century, blended Highland valor with statesmanlike grace, laying the foundation for a legacy of both strength and wisdom. Sir Corwin Alisair, a knight of great renown, rose to prominence through military prowess and royal loyalty. His marriage to Lady Éilis Kennedy, daughter of a respected court ambassador, brought prestige and strategic influence. Their descendants were elevated to marquessate in 1349 by Queen Adrienne the Steadfast.
