Just so you know... physical contact is one of the most important things to keeping a human being healthy. Simple things like a hug, or just holding hands is more important than you can ever imagine. To deprive someone of that is the worst possible harm you can do. Even if it’s something as small as a hug for people you care about, a touch will mean plenty to them. Don’t look down on people who you think are “clingy” or “needy” they’re just having a rough time and you can help them. Do you grasp the immensity of that? That someone can be hurting so bad that they’re in tears and just your presence can help them? Don’t laugh that off, because that’s a big deal. So when you ask someone how they are and they laugh, say they’re fine, change the subject, give them a hug, just to be sure. I mean, whats the worse that could happen if you do? Free hugs. D'ya want one?
