Description
🦅 U S A A 🦅 The United States Army traces its roots back to the Continental Army, formed on June 14, 1775, during the American Revolutionary War. This force, led by General George Washington, fought for independence from Great Britain. After the war, the Continental Army was disbanded, but the need for a standing military led to the creation of the United States Army in 1784. The United States Army Academy, also known as West Point, is a prestigious institution dedicated to training and educating future Army officers. Located on the banks of the Hudson River in West Point, New York, the academy offers a rigorous four-year program that combines academic excellence with military discipline and leadership development.
