Description
“Glory, freedom, and prosperity, we welcome all who dare to join us on this journey.” Situated in the Bahamas, Nassau became the base of the Nassau Merchant Company. During the chaos of the Napoleonic Wars, many Germanic soldiers and officers, shattered by defeat and abandoned by the empires they once served, sought a new life in the New World. Among them was a former commander of a Rhinebund regiment who gathered deserters, sailors, and wanderers to forge a new brotherhood upon the sea. Inspired by both the hardships of Napoleonic warfare and the ancient seafaring spirit of the North, the company embraced the old Norse ideals of courage, freedom, and glory. Like the Viking raiders of old, they believed the seas belonged to the bold. Now sailing from Nassau, the Nassau Merchant Company seeks fortune, freedom, and legend upon the open ocean.
