Columbian National Railways Police #420426325
Description
The Columbian National Railways Police traces its origins back to 1868, a pivotal year in the development of the young nation’s rail system. The founding of the CNRP came in direct response to a daring and violent train heist along the Raritan Line, where armed bandits derailed and looted a Columbian National train carrying payroll funds and industrial cargo. Today, the Columbian National Railways Police stands as a modern law enforcement agency with specialized units trained in railroad policing, and hazardous materials response, in addition to traditional patrol and investigative duties. Its officers safeguard thousands of miles of track, freight yards, depots, and stations across the eastern union of columbia. Legality of this departments existence is ensured under 49 U.C. Code § 28101.
