Rivendell, or the Valley of Imladris, is an Elven town that lies close to Misty Mountains on the eastern edge of Eriador. It is inhabited by mostly elves and is ruled by Lord Elrond. ◙▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬◙ After the destruction of Eregion in the War Of The Elves and Sauron, Elrond took the survivors to the valley of Imladris where they held off the assaults of Sauron's Orcs. Elrond established the City Of Rivendell with the survivors of Eregion and ruled there throughout the 3rd Age. ◙▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬◙
