𝐒𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐭 “Alt for Noreg!” "Everything for Norway!" ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Royal Civil Defence Organisation, or Sivilforsvaret originated in 1936 during international turmoil. The Norwegian Ministry of Justice and Public Security formed a nation wide organisation known as the "voluntary air protection", or Det Frivillige Luftvern later named to Civil Air Protection. In 1938 when world tension was reaching an all time high, the Civil Air Protection was renamed to "Sivilforsvaret", and given a new task of being a minor conscription army of men and women aged 18-55. This small militia was given the job of defending Norway's cities and maintaining them in the event of an emergency or crisis.
