The Coldstream Regiment of Foot Guards was founded in 1650 as Monck's Regiment of Foot, but was officially known as the Coldstream Guards in 1670. It is one of the oldest and most senior regiments in the British Army. The Coldstream Guards took part in numerous battles in the Napoleonic Wars, and earned distinction in the Battle of Waterloo, where they re-closed Hougoumont's gates, and Wellington himself considered the defence as one of the deciding factors of the battle. ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฉ: 30 ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ
