# 𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐇𝐋𝐘𝐈𝐌 ### *THE STALWART SELLSWORDS* ₪▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬₪ ⚔️ Across the ancient world, men gather at the gates of Carthage seeking a new beginning. Farmers, warriors, exiles, and adventurers arrive from distant lands, bringing their families and little more than the clothes upon their backs. Their homelands have offered them nothing but hardship. Carthage offers something else. **Silver.** At the mercenary recruitment post, each man is questioned about his origins, his experience, and the life he has left behind. Once accepted, his name is entered into the ledger of the Republic. Equipment is issued. Orders are given. A station is assigned. And with a signature upon the contract, the man's old allegiance ends. He has sold his sword to **Carthage.**
