International Volunteer Army 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐍 𝐎𝐍 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒 ◄☀► ──────────────────── ◄☀► Following the victory of the Second Cry of Pugad Lawin, leading to the defeat of the colonial oppressors, Artemio Ricarte's return marked a pivotal point in the revolution's military history. This would establish the International Volunteer Army, originally backed by the Imperial Japanese. However, overtime, the USSR came to support the volunteer army as manpower flooded in, inspired by the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War and seeking to counterbalance fascism.
