Britannia (AoN) #429980142

Description
During the Napoleonic Wars (1803–1815), Britain became one of Napoleon Bonaparte’s strongest opponents. Britain used its powerful Royal Navy to maintain control of the seas, most famously defeating the French and Spanish fleets at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Britain also supported European allies financially and militarily and fought French forces in the Peninsular War, where the Duke of Wellington helped drive Napoleon’s armies out of Spain and Portugal. Britain’s naval strength, economic resources, and alliances played an important role in the eventual defeat of Napoleon in 1815.
