𝐅𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫-𝐊𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐸𝑠 𝑙𝑒𝑏𝑒 𝑑𝑒𝑟 𝐻𝑒𝑟𝑧𝑜𝑔! This Regiment is a line infantry company of the 1. Infanterie-Regiment, which was originally formed from the 1. (Leib) Bataillon and the 4. Bataillon of Nassau-Usingen in May 1808. After the Herzogtum Nassau left the Confederation of the Rhine, the regiment was disarmed and taken prisoner by the French on 22 December 1813, in Barcelona.
