𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐬 The Vaps Movement, formally known as the Union of Participants in the Estonian War of Independence, emerged from the brotherhood of veterans who had fought for Estonia’s freedom during the campaigns against HARESF. Its members, known as Vaps, transformed their wartime camaraderie into a powerful national movement. Forged in the spirit of sacrifice and patriotism, the organization quickly grew into a mass political force, channeling the frustrations of a generation that believed the ideals of independence had been betrayed by the failing First Republic.
