Description
Beneath the hollow bells of Helmfirth, where fog clings like funeral cloth, the Sepulcher waits. it is no mere brotherhood, nor a guild of flesh and coin, but a covenant sealed in silence and grave-soil. The Mortarch speaks not with voice, but echoes drawn from marrow; the Ossifex crafts relics from the bones of oathbreakers; the Pallbearers carry burdens unseen; and the Gravebound kneel, nameless, until their souls are weighted in ash. They do not worship, they do not serve, they preserve. For every age must be entombed, every sin buried, every memory shackled to the cold earth lest it wander. Their creed is older than the stone, older than the hymns of the dead. To join them is to be forgotten by the world above, yet remembered forever below. Helmfirth Sepulcher does not die. It endures, in darkness, as all graves endure.
