ADIRONDACK PRESERVATION AUTHORITY ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Adirondack Preservation Authority is a non-profit, government sanctioned organization tasked with preserving the pristine Adirondack Mountains, located in northern New York State. After certain incidents occurring in the region in the 1970's, legislation was passed to replace the potential Adirondack Park Agency with the Adirondack Preservation Authority instead. The Adirondack Preservation Authority would operate under a federal mandate, as the legislation also included Adirondack Park to become a National Park instead of a State Park. The A.P.A. would have a much wider array of duties, such as private and public property management, wildlife management, forest preservation, firewatching, land maintenance, and research. Of course, most of these duties were to mask the true duty of the Adirondack Preservation Authority; the containment and research into a mysterious anomaly.
